About this game

1000 Miglia is a racing simulator based on the classic Italian motor race of the same name. Players progress across Italy in a rickety 1920s car, completing successive stages while staying within strict time limits.

Race Preparation

Before setting out, you choose a car, select spare parts for potential breakdowns, and develop two drivers by distributing points among Skill, Resistance, and Mechanics. Each driver can also have a preferred part of the race.

Roadside Challenges

Changing conditions bring clear weather, rain, and mist. Mechanical problems may include losing a wheel or requiring other repairs. Repairs cost valuable time and can only be completed when the necessary spare part is available; otherwise, the race ends.

Developed and published by Simulmondo, 1000 Miglia was released in 1990 for Amiga, Commodore Amiga, Commodore C64/128/MAX, DOS, and MS-DOS.
