2Xtreme combines four action-sports disciplines across 12 courses: snowboarding in Japan, inline skating in Las Vegas, mountain biking in Africa, and skateboarding in Los Angeles.

Compete through a season using a points system that rewards finishing position, special moves, and knockdowns. The game includes 10 characters, four types of power-ups, four difficulty levels, and the option to create your own player.

Perform moves such as backside rail grabs, ollie-airs, carves, 360s, and Japan airs, while kicking and punching your way to the finish. Two players can compete in split-screen racing.
