About this game

3D Grand Prix is a first-person Formula 1 racing game released in 1982. Races are viewed from the driver's seat and take place across eight circuits based on real locations, including Zandvoort, Silverstone, and Anderstorp.

Each event consists of three laps. Progression requires a top-four finish in the BBC version and a top-three finish in the Amstrad version. Players can use a keyboard or joystick, with manual transmission and cockpit displays showing the rev counter, temperature gauge, and speed. The Amstrad version also includes wing mirrors that show opponents approaching from behind.
