About this game

3D Stock Car Championship is a racing game for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, developed by Ace Software and published by Firebird Software Ltd.

The championship spans 24 different circuits. Before each race, players compete in a qualifying period to determine grid position, followed by the main event. The driver with the most points after the 24th race becomes the stock car champion.

Up to four players can compete using Interface II. Each car has eight forward gears, with acceleration limited by the selected gear. Briefly toggling the accelerator shifts up or down depending on whether the car is accelerating or braking; continuing to brake after reaching zero speed puts the car into reverse.
