About this game

3D Stunt Rider is a single-player racing game for the Amstrad CPC, developed by DJL Software Ltd. and published by Amsoft.

Gameplay

The objective is to jump a motorcycle over a series of double-decker London buses in an attempt to set a world record. Each jump must be completed within one minute and consists of three stages:

  • The Approach: Accelerate through the gears and steer toward the middle of the ramp. Higher levels introduce side winds that can push the motorcycle off course.
  • In the Air: Viewed from a side-on perspective, the flight can be adjusted by leaning forwards or backwards.
  • Landing: Success depends on the angle of approach.

Successful jumps earn points, including a 1000-point bonus for a successful landing. The game supports keyboard and joystick controls.
