About this game

9 Lives is an action-platform game developed by Frames and released in 1989 for Amiga, Atari ST, Atari ST/STE, and Commodore Amiga.

Bob Cat sets out to rescue Claudette, who has been kidnapped by scientists for experiments. The game features four levels, with jump distance determined by how long the joystick is pushed down. Rotor blades can be collected to enable flight, while Bob's ball of string temporarily stuns enemies rather than destroying them.

Contact with enemies or hazards drains Bob's energy. He can lose eight lives before a ninth death ends the game.
