Arcade-style football with leagues, national teams, editing tools, and customizable match conditions.
90 Minutes: Sega Championship Football is a traditional action football game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for Dreamcast in 2001.
Matches use familiar football controls for passing, lobs, shooting, player switching, and sprinting. Controls can be remapped, while directional-pad tactics allow quick strategic adjustments during play.
The game includes seven leagues covering England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and clubs from around the world, alongside national teams. Although team licenses are not included, many players use real names. Player and team editors allow names and numbers to be changed, national-team selections to be adjusted, and new teams and players to be created.
Modes include a World Championship, national leagues and cups, a customizable cup, exhibition, and training. Winning competitions can unlock secret teams. Players can adjust half length, opponent level, and game speed, as well as select weather, time of day, and from 10 camera views. Six stadiums are available, inspired by venues including Wembley Stadium, the Nou Camp, and the ArenA in Amsterdam.
