A Dinosaur's Tale

A Dinosaur's Tale is an action-platform game based on the animated movie We're Back. Players take control of characters including the children Cecilia and Louie, as well as dinosaurs such as Rex and Elsa.

The game alternates between side-scrolling platforming stages and 3D levels. Human-character levels involve running and jumping through obstacles in locations around New York, including a television studio and a circus. The 3D stages feature activities such as skateboarding on the back of a pickup truck and flying over Central Park while collecting balloons.

The adventure leads to a confrontation with Dr. Screweyes. Developed by Funcom and published by Hi Tech Expressions for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, it is noted for its early use of 3D gameplay on the system.
