About this game

A.M.C.: Astro Marine Corps is a 2D horizontal-scrolling action platform shooter released in 1988. The game is divided into two phases, beginning with a commando mission on the planet DENDAR.

Gameplay

In the first phase, the player must trap the Death Bringers' ship while facing 11 different enemies and Krauer, their four-meter-tall leader. The commando starts with a single-shot weapon and collects increasingly powerful weapons during the mission.

Crates delivered from the sky by the Astro Marine may have their contents altered by the Death Bringers, creating hazards such as green carnivorous plants that can suffocate the player.

The second phase takes place aboard the Death Bringers' ship and on their planet. It includes a limited-time extermination mission, 13 different enemies, and the final boss, Great King Alien.
