About this game

A Prehistoric Tale is a non-scrolling 2D platformer developed by The Lost Boys and published by Thalion Software. Released in 1989, it follows a time traveler trying to rescue dinosaur eggs from an unsafe environment so they can evolve into mammals.

Hatched dinosaurs impede progress, but they are afraid of mice, which can be released in certain locations. Enemies can be defeated by jumping on them, while hatched dinosaurs can also be temporarily caged by jumping over them.

The game was released for Amiga, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, and Atari ST/STE. It is essentially a remake of Dino Eggs for the Commodore 64.
