A-Rank Thunder Tanjouhen

A-Rank Thunder Tanjouhen is a Sega CD adventure game released on June 25, 1993. Developed by Riot and published by Telenet Japan, it follows Yutaka Ran, who awakens with no memory and discovers that he has been captured and transformed into a superweapon capable of harnessing electricity under extreme duress.

Progress centers on speaking with key non-player characters and making dialogue choices. The Live Interactive Picture system asks players to manage Yutaka’s emotional state, with their decisions affecting how he performs in the game’s rudimentary card-based battles. Yutaka must use his abilities to uncover a way to stop those seeking to exploit him.
