Adidas Power Soccer International '97

Adidas Power Soccer International '97 is a fast-paced football game for PlayStation and the sequel to adidas Power Soccer. It expands the league selection from three to five, adding Spain and Italy to the English, French, and German leagues, and includes a Top 20 division featuring leading European clubs alongside 56 national teams.

Game Modes

Players can compete in cups, tournaments, and leagues, with familiar controls for passing, lobbing, shooting, and defensive lunges. The standard mode follows the fast-paced style of the series while using traditional football gameplay.

Arcade Mode

Arcade mode adds rule-bending action, including kicks to the head and the series’ signature Predator Megakick. Special moves consume player stamina. Once the stamina meter is depleted, players lose access to these moves and recover more slowly after tackles, making stamina management important during longer matches.
