About this game

Aero Racer, formerly known as Rocket Racing, is a single-player top-down arcade-style racing game in which colored neon rocket ships compete for the finish line.

The central challenge is controlling each craft’s momentum. Rear jet-boosters can be used to grind and thrust off track boundaries, increasing acceleration. There are no weapons or damage meters, keeping the focus on speed and maintaining the best possible racing line.

Game Modes

  • Campaign: Progress through increasingly difficult tiers by succeeding in races, challenges, and trials.
  • Grand Prix: Compete across a set of interconnected races.
  • Quick Race: Jump directly into a race.
  • Party Mode: Take turns competing in single-player challenges.

Aero Racer was developed and published by Halfbrick and released on March 11, 2010, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and Sony PSP Minis.
