About this game

In Agent Orange, eight planets are being drained by a strange weed planted by an alien life form. Pilot your ship and deploy Agent Orange to destroy the growth before it consumes each world.

The game combines horizontally scrolling, top-down shooting with a resource-management challenge. Alien fighters attack while you attempt to sow Agent Orange, and destroyed fighters leave seeds behind. Collecting too many seeds causes your ship to crash, so careful handling is essential.

Gameplay

  • Steer the ship with the joystick and fire weapons with the fire button.
  • Hold the fire button to release Agent Orange.
  • Move the screen left and right across each planet.
  • Collect seeds dropped by destroyed alien fighters without overloading the ship.

Released in 1985, Agent Orange was developed by Argus Press Software and Icon Design Ltd. and published by A&F Software for Amstrad CPC, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
