Agony

Agony is a horizontally scrolling shoot ’em up for Amiga, developed by Art & Magic and published by Psygnosis. You play as a magician’s apprentice transformed into an owl, fighting through six long levels to destroy dark creatures and uncover the secret of cosmic strength.

Its enemies include piranhas, giant ants, and mosquitoes. Extra weapons and temporary invincibility can be collected, while three layers of multidirectional parallax scrolling, background animation, and separate title and in-game music support its detailed, atmospheric presentation.
