AH-3: ThunderStrike

AH-3 Thunderstrike is an arcade-oriented helicopter flight simulator and shooter developed and published by Core Design. Released in 1993 for DOS and Sega CD, it puts you in control of the AH-3 across 10 operations set around the world.

Operations are divided into multiple missions with objectives such as destroying tanks, demolishing bridges, and escorting trucks. On Sega CD, the game uses the system’s scaling and rotation hardware with scaled sprites to create a 3D-style environment and smooth frame rate.
