Air Assault

Air Assault is a 2D up-scrolling shoot ’em up in which players take control of a fighter and battle the Fourth Empire across eight stages.

Enemy forces include tanks, aircraft, ships, static guns, and bosses. Power-up capsules provide access to four guns: the broad straight-firing Balkan gun, wide-arc Wing gun, narrow-beam Graviton laser, and all-direction grenade. Players can also use straight-firing Megaton missiles, homing missiles, and a bomb that clears the entire screen.

The game supports solo play and two-player action. It was released in 1992 for Arcade and is also listed for Final Burn Alpha Neo.
