About this game

Akumajou Densetsu is a Konami hack-and-slash and platform game released on December 22, 1989. Set 100 years before Simon Belmont's birth, it follows Trevor as he battles Count Dracula and an army of supernatural enemies.

Trevor can transform into three different fighting spirits: Grant DaNasty, Sypha, and Alucard. He can also use weapons and items including the Battle Axe, Invisibility Potion, and Mystic Whip.

The adventure features branching Paths of Fate and 17 possible levels, including the Haunted Ship of Fools, Sunken City of Poltergeists, Clock Tower of Untimely Death, and Curse Castle.
