About this game

Alex Higgins' World Snooker is a top-down snooker simulator presented under the name of snooker world champion Alex Higgins. Players position the cue ball, aim by selecting a destination, and adjust force and spin before taking a shot.

Coloured and numbered balls must be potted in the predefined order according to snooker rules. The player with the most points at the end wins. Red-ball setups include six, ten, or fifteen reds.

Game Modes

  • Practice: A one-player mode.
  • Match: A two-player mode.

The game supports English, French, and German, and was released for Amstrad CPC, DOS, and MS-DOS.
