Algarna

Algarna is a side-scrolling action RPG developed by M.N.M Software and published by Brother Kougyou for the Sharp X68000. It was released on February 8, 1991.

The game follows the style of Falcom's Ys series, particularly Ys III: Wanderers from Ys and the original Ys, with a more simplified and orthodox design. Compared with Tigunasu no Bouken, which used the same engine, Algarna adds an Aura system along with opening and ending cutscenes.

Its music was composed by Yuzo Koshiro, known for his work on the Streets of Rage, ActRaiser, and early Ys series.
