About this game

Alice in Wonderland is an adventure platformer inspired by the two Alice books by Lewis Carroll. Unlike the role-playing focus of Below the Root, it emphasizes puzzle solving, including inventory-based challenges, riddles, jumping sequences, and using items to change Alice’s size.

The game adapts the books’ humor through rhymes and puns. Conversations end by selecting emotions rather than typing words, and angering non-player characters can cause them to leave until a specific time. Clocks reveal these times, while the overall adventure must be completed before the Red King wakes.

It was released in 1984 for Apple II, Commodore C64/128/MAX, Nintendo Game Boy Color, and Philips CD-i.
