About this game

Alien Bash II is a top-down shooter for Amiga systems, developed by Glen Cumming and published by Amiga Format on a coverdisk. It follows an escaped prisoner battling aliens who have attacked a planet and enslaved its inhabitants.

Across eight maze-like levels, players shoot enemies, solve switch and key puzzles, and rescue all hostages before facing each level’s boss. A radar indicates the general direction of hostages, while optional areas can contain power-ups, extra weapons such as grenades, and money.

Money earned from defeated enemies or found in bonus areas can be spent between levels in a shop. Three control options change how the character behaves while shooting, including whether they can move or spin while firing.
