About this game

Alien Bash is a straightforward shooter for Amiga, released in 1992. Players control a young, unnamed hero moving through a spaceship while battling waves of aliens and rescuing hostages.

Each level requires freeing a set number of prisoners trapped inside lethal force-fields. After destroying the fields and collecting the hostages, players must return to their starting point to advance. Shooting is tied to the joystick’s eight directional positions, adding a distinctive control challenge.

Destroying unusual shapes reveals power-ups, including triple-shot weapons, powerful missiles, and an invincibility token. The game was developed by Glen Cumming and published by The One (Coverdisk).
