About this game
Alien Typhoon is an enhanced version of Apple Galaxian (Alien Rain) and a variant of the arcade game Galaxian. In this Apple II shoot-'em-up, a lone starship at the bottom of the screen defends itself against formations of alien ships.
Aliens break formation to attack in different patterns based on their color. The two ships at the top are motherships, each accompanied by two red escorts. Destroying the escorts before shooting the mothership can earn a large point bonus.
