Third-person action-adventure featuring the Predator in a battle against Aliens and humans
The briefing
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem follows a lone Predator scout who arrives on Earth after a crashed ship releases both Aliens and a Predalien. Players hunt the extraterrestrial intruders while removing evidence of their presence.
Played from a third-person perspective, the game combines wrist attacks with weapons such as a shoulder cannon, hand cannon, and throwable disc. The Predator can cloak, use tech, thermal, and alien vision modes, lock onto enemies, climb, jump, break through walls, and escape when pinned down. Cloaking consumes energy and disappears on contact with water.
Honour points are earned by tagging Aliens and avoiding human casualties. These points can be used to upgrade weapons, with additional upgrades available after missions. Progress typically requires removing a set amount of evidence, while branching mission paths provide different settings. A map displays the environment, enemies, and objectives, and two-player cooperative skirmish matches are also available.
