Alone in the Dark

Alone in the Dark on PlayStation 2 and Wii follows the same basic story as the Xbox 360 and Windows version, but presents it through a different interpretation. Developed by Hydravision and published by Atari, these editions feature revised level structures, gameplay mechanics, and character designs, including a notably different portrayal of Sarah.

The driving sequences are largely removed, while the first-person perspective is used much less frequently. Fire can also be extinguished while playing in third-person view. Although the main screenplay and endings remain broadly similar, these versions offer a distinct take on the game rather than a direct equivalent of the other release.
