About this game

Alpine Ski is a Taito sports game built around three skiing events: downhill skiing, slalom racing, and ski jumping.

Gameplay

Guide your skier down the course while avoiding snowmobiles, beginning skiers, and other obstacles. Control speed by pressing or releasing the button, and earn points through successful runs.

Completing the downhill course unlocks the slalom event, where hitting poles results in a penalty. Finishing the slalom allows entry into the ski jump competition, where the on-screen radar helps maximize jump distance for bonus points. Reaching the required bonus level increases playing time.
