About this game

Amsgolf is a basic golf simulation for the Amstrad CPC, presented with chunky, colourful graphics and a distinctive control system. It is recognised as the CPC's first golf game and first sports game.

The goal is to complete an 18-hole woodland course in as few strokes as possible, improving the player's handicap. The course includes fairways, rough, and hazards that make each hole more difficult. The game assumes a right-handed player, with one stroke counted each time the ball is hit.
