About this game

Andy Capp is an adventure-fighting game based on the comic-strip character from the British newspaper The Mirror. Andy must gather enough money after spending his unemployment benefit before his wife leaves him.

Money can be raised in several ways, including betting and pressuring other people. Andy must also keep his alcometer as full as possible while avoiding arrest for fighting characters around town, including his wife. He can stop people by blowing a kiss, then interact with them by giving an item, talking, or attacking.

The game was released in 1987 for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
