A hostile-world escape adventure beneath a dying sun

The briefing

About this game

In Anfractuos, the planet's sun is becoming a supernova, leaving a mining droid with one urgent objective: escape before the planet reaches the end of its life.

The game uses side-view action and flick-screen scrolling. Its maze-like environment includes one-way routes and dead ends, making careful mapping important. Hostile wildlife occupies the area, but it is protected, so shooting should be kept to a minimum.

To begin the escape sequence, collect eight fuel crystals, whose locations are randomized in each game, then activate four switches. Once the shuttle's automated departure sequence starts, return to the shuttle before it is too late.
