About this game

Angel Kids is a 1987 arcade platform game built around timing, coordination, and vertical progression. Players take turns controlling two kids who pull a rope outward to launch a third, bouncing kid toward balloons.

Balloons require multiple hits to pop, while the final hit sends the airborne kid flying faster and sharply changes her angle. Players must judge her re-entry carefully to avoid dropping her, and push upward on the joysticks to advance the kids holding the rope.

The balloon-filled stage scrolls across seven screens. During the airborne sequences, the display splits to show close-ups of the action. Its unusual visual style uses many muted pastel colors. The game appears to have been released only in Japan.
