About this game

Annals of Rome begins in 273 BC, placing you in the role of a Roman senator with the goal of colonizing as much of the known world as possible while preserving Roman power.

Manage population and tax income, assign generals to invasion targets, and redistribute officers across your kingdom. Officers may rebel and trigger civil wars, while conflicts with Carthaginians, Vandals, Parthians, Persians, and other civilizations unfold in sequence. The game uses turn-based phases and historically modeled events whose duration can vary over time.
