Aoi Namida

Aoi Namida is a romance adventure game presented as a visual novel, developed by Panther Software for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. The Xbox release is dated May 27, 2004, and followed the original PC version by about a year.

The story unfolds across several worlds presented as separate volumes. It begins in the Fantasy Volume, where the heroines are introduced individually and the player can pursue a romantic relationship with one of them. The chosen heroine influences the Reminiscence Volume, which explores a different version of the characters’ past before concluding in the present-day Modern Volume. Additional characters appear as the story progresses through each volume.

The Xbox version includes full voice acting, unlike the original PC release, and removes the adult graphical content found in the PC game. The first-print edition, known as Shokaiban (初回版), also includes the original soundtrack; a regular Xbox release was not produced.
