Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed

Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed is an action-focused collection of competitive minigames from Sony Japan Studio, published by Ubisoft. Released on October 20, 2004, it is available for Arcade and PlayStation 2.

Gameplay

The game combines several multiplayer-style challenges, including team and free-for-all battles, underwater combat, foot races, coin-collecting events, tank battles, and boat or raft races. Depending on the event, players can use gadgets, vehicles, torpedoes, missiles, or the Dragonfly to compete and overcome opponents.

Gadgets and Rewards

Playable gadgets include the Stunclub, Hoops, Slingshot, Dragonfly, and a car. Players can earn fan prizes by meeting performance goals, with rewards including Fan IDs, fan letters, new gadgets, vehicles, clothing, and summonings. Summonings provide special assistance during on-foot levels, such as healing, attacking opponents, or creating a sandstorm.

Progression

After reaching the Subfinals, characters can use special attacks created by combining nearby buttons. Characters have different specials, adding variety to competitive battles and story-mode encounters.
