About this game

Aquarius is a side-view scrolling shooter set in underwater caverns, where the player must reach and destroy destructive enemy machines.

Combat involves shooting creatures including jellyfish, sharks, and squirts. Sharks can only be hit in the head, while seaweed, enemy mines, and limited oxygen add further hazards. Oxygen tanks must be collected regularly.

The second level features a jagged, Scramble-style cave while retaining the same core gameplay. Each level begins with a colour code that must be entered at the end of the mission to receive credit for completion and earn an extra life.
