About this game

Archibald's Adventures is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle platform game in which Archibald must navigate Professor Klumpfus's mansion after an experiment goes wrong and genetically engineered creatures escape. The mansion's computer locks the house, leaving Archibald to complete levels and reach it to reset the system.

Archibald travels on a skateboard, using pipes, momentum, and jumps to reach each exit while avoiding acid, spikes, crushers, bullets, lasers, creatures, and dangerous falls. Puzzle elements include levers, buttons, floor triggers, temporary platforms, fans, teleporters, chains, crates, and bombs. In some levels, he can launch and steer a pink bubble to access otherwise unreachable areas, move objects, or activate distant controls.

Later sections introduce a maintenance pod that climbs walls and ceilings, followed by a jet-powered craft. The game launched with 114 levels in Trapped in the Mansion, followed by The Great Cleanup with 49 levels and Just for Fun with 28 levels, for more than 190 levels in total.
