Armadillo

Armadillo is a platform game for the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System, published by Information Global Service in 1991 and developed by AIM.

The player controls Billy the Shell, a yellow armadillo wearing a red hat. Before each level, Billy moves across a board-game-style map made up of small spaces and larger illustrated spaces. Landing on a larger space allows the player to enter an action stage, which must be completed before progressing.

A separate character also travels across the board. Meeting this character lets the player choose to enter a boss battle, which must be cleared to advance to the next world.
