A fantasy adventure through the forgotten dwarven kingdom of Dol Armaëth

The briefing

About this game

In ancient times, the dwarven kingdom of Dol Armaëth was overrun by evil forces. Although the wise king Armaëth drove them out, the kingdom was forgotten after his death and evil eventually returned. Players guide treasure hunter Killian in the search for the lost kingdom.

The adventure unfolds across multiple areas visited in a linear order. Each area contains freely explorable screens, movable characters, collectible items, conversations, and puzzles, with progress often requiring items to be used on other items or people. Occasional mazes and action sequences add variety, including moments where Killian must act while avoiding enemies.

Killian can be resurrected after dying, but loses all collected items. The game supports keyboard movement with a text parser, a point-and-click interface using action icons, or a combination of both. Its extensive icon system includes standard actions such as taking and looking, as well as actions like kissing, eating, and saving.
