About this game

Artura is a side-scrolling platform game inspired by the mythology of King Arthur. You play as Artura, son of Pendragon, on a mission to rescue Nimue, apprentice to Merdyn, from his evil half-sister Morgause.

Armed with an axe, Artura battles creatures including spiders and bats, avoids deadly traps, and seeks access to Morgause's castle. The game features four maze-like levels and six runes containing spells, which must be found to free Nimue.

Artura was developed by Sentient Software and published by Arcadia Systems, Erbe Software, and Gremlin Graphics Software Ltd. It was released for Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
