Astérix & Obélix XXL

Astérix & Obélix XXL is an action-adventure game set in the world of the French Asterix comic series. Players join the Gaulish warrior Asterix and his companion Obelix in their battles against the Romans in 50 BC.

Released on November 21, 2003, the game combines action, adventure, and hack-and-slash beat ’em up gameplay. It was developed by Velez & Dubail and Étranges Libellules, and published by Atari for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo GameCube.

In the United States, the PlayStation 2 release was titled Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix. The sequel, Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum, followed the next year.
