Asuka & Asuka

Asuka & Asuka is a vertical jet shooter developed by Taito. In 1996, the mysterious Galaxy Highters invade Earth and use space-time manipulation to occupy multiple points in history at once.

To fight back, Earth’s militaries create the Flying Bird, a jet fighter capable of time travel. Players pilot it through the occupied timelines in an effort to stop the invasion, facing unusual bosses such as a two-headed sea monster.
