Avenger

In this sequel to The Way of the Tiger, Yaemon the Grand Master of Flame has killed your foster-father, Naijish, and stolen the Scrolls of Kettsuin. Your mission is to recover the scrolls and avenge his death.

Viewed from above, Avenger combines action, arcade, and shooting elements. Begin outside Quench Heart Keep, searching its grounds and connected buildings for enough keys to gain entry. Inside, you must defeat each of the three guards while also fending off spiders that can home in on your position.

Your ranged weapon is a limited supply of Shuikch. Once your ammunition runs out, you must rely on bare-handed combat unless you find more. Pressing the 1 key summons an energy recharge from the God Kwon, though this ability can only be used a limited number of times.
