Axelay

Axelay is an arcade-style shooter set in the Illis solar system, where a cluster of worlds faces the ruthless Armada of Annihilation.

Players pilot the D-117B, code-named Axelay, a prototype combat stratafighter equipped with sophisticated weaponry. The game unfolds across a six-level galactic blitzkrieg and is noted for its 3-D graphics and perspective effects.

Developed and published by Konami, Axelay was released for Super Famicom and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, with later versions for Super Nintendo MSU-1, Wii, and Wii U.
