About this game

Axis and Allies is a turn-based strategy game closely based on the Axis and Allies: Classic board game. Set at the start of 1942 during World War II, it lets players control one of five world powers: the United States, the United Kingdom, the USSR, Germany, or Japan.

Gameplay

Each power takes its turn through research, purchasing, combat movement, combat, non-combat movement, unit placement, and income collection. Industrial Production Certificates are used to research technologies such as jet engines and rockets, purchase troops, and support the war effort.

Victory conditions are chosen at the beginning of the game and can include world domination, capturing enemy capitals, or reaching a specified level of economic power for the Axis. The USSR takes the first turn, while the USA takes the last.
