The briefing

About this game

Backgammon is a computer version of the classic board game, played from a top-down perspective against a computer opponent.

The objective is to be the first player to move all fifteen pieces off the board. Players roll two dice to determine movement; doubles count as four moves, with the additional moves matching the rolled pair. Pieces can move to empty spaces, spaces occupied by the player’s own pieces, or spaces containing a single opposing piece. Landing on a lone opposing piece sends it back to its home base.
