About this game

Bank Panic is an action arcade shooter centered on defending a bank from bandits while avoiding harm to innocent customers. The bank has 12 doors, though only three are visible at once, and you move your viewpoint left or right to search for threats.

Use separate controls to shoot the left, middle, or right door. Bandits must be stopped before they fire, while dynamite must be destroyed before it explodes. Customers can deposit bags of gold, but shooting them costs a life. Special encounters include rescuing hostages, clearing a cowboy’s hats for a bonus, and cutting ropes to earn additional gold.

Each round ends after a gold bag has been received from behind all 12 doors. More than ten rounds are available, with later stages introducing bandits who can block shots and require multiple hits. Every round is also governed by a time limit, and the player begins with three lives.
