A 1993 vertically scrolling shooter by Core Design
The briefing
Banshee is an old-school vertically scrolling shooter for Amiga and Amiga CD32, released in 1993 by Core Design. Its action is built around confronting large enemy vehicles, individual soldiers, and civilians across four expansive levels.
The stages scroll primarily vertically with limited horizontal movement, giving players room to evade some opposition. Enemies may use hiding places and emerge unexpectedly, while the special loop-the-loop maneuver can be used either as an attack or an evasive move.
