About this game

Barbarian II: The Dungeon of Drax, also released as Axe of Rage in North America, is a single-player action-adventure sequel to Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior. Players control either a princess or a barbarian character while exploring the game world in search of the evil wizard Drax.

Unlike its predecessor's two-player combat, Barbarian II focuses on solo exploration and adventure, with fewer fighting moves. Its mixed critical reception reflected differing views of the experience: some reviewers considered it a refreshing, gory adventure, while others found its world confusing and isolating.
