Arcade platform action featuring a frantic burger-building race
The briefing
Barmy Burgers is an arcade platform game released in 1982 for the Dragon 32/64 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Developed by Gary Capewell and published by Blaby Computer Games, it challenges players to assemble a half-pound burger by racing across stacked ingredients.
As ingredients are crossed, they drop to the next section. Staying near the top of the pile is the fastest strategy, but two sausages and a fried egg pursue the player. Pepper can temporarily disable these enemies, sending them back to the beginning of the screen, although each player has only five blasts available.
