About this game

Baron: The Real Estate Simulation is a turn-based business simulation focused on buying, selling, and financing property in the American real estate market. Each turn represents one month and lets players review market trends, investigate properties, trade options, and take out loans.

Players begin with $35,000 and the status of Novice, which brings lower borrowing limits and higher closing costs. Increasing net worth unlocks the Investor and Banker statuses, providing better leverage. The primary goal is to reach a net worth of $1,000,000 and become a Baron within 60 months, though players can continue pursuing additional millions. Poor decisions can instead lead to bankruptcy.

Up to 14 players can record their status and history, although only one plays at a time. A game session can be saved to disk and resumed later.
